Dr Graeme Crawford who practices in Bangor Health Centre, has been judged ´GP of the Year´. He picked up the prestigious award at a glittering award ceremony in Europa Hotel, Belfast attended by Health Minister, Michael McGimpsey and many of Northern Ireland’s most influential healthcare professionals.
Dr Crawford is a keen supporter of Bangor Hospital and has particular skills in palliative care. He is a MacMillan GP facilitator and has been instrumental in developing support and education in palliative care for GP practices throughout North Down and Ards.
His colleagues at Bangor Health Centre in nominating him for the award cited his ‘dedication to patients, his dependability in practice and his generous spirit’.
The ‘GP of the Year’ award is sponsored by MDS Pharma Services, Belfast, part of the global clinical research organisation.
The ‘GP of the Year’ is part of the Northern Ireland Healthcare Awards.
